Building Defects Repairs and Waterproofing Oxnard, CA Completed 2008, $8.5M



St. John's Regional Medical Center required extensive repairs to the exterior skin and storefront windows to prevent rain water migration.

This OSHPD-mandated project involved twenty separate waterproofing and construction tasks delivered within an aggressive 16-month schedule.

Vancrest performed the tasks with in-house forces without disrupting the normal hospital routine. the 16 month scope of work included:

  • Exterior skin replacement using BASF Thoro products

  • Modifications to storefront systems

  • Modifications to control joints and reveals

  • Custom waterproofing design and details

  • Negotiated bid with preconstruction services
