Repair and Restoration of Brick Bell Tower Long Beach, CA
This brick structure was badly damaged by rebar deterioration caused by water migration and salty air. Repair and restoration work performed by Vancrest Construction included:
Brick removal
Rebar rust removal and protection
Installation of BASF anodes
Brick replacement
Installation of BASF MBrace carbon fiber strips to compensate for deteriorated horizontal rebar
